The article deals with the most dynamically developing branch of power electronics related to solving tasks of voltage regulation in DC-to-DC converters. Linear regulation of the output voltage is carried out using pulse-width modulation. A linear regulatory characteristic is obtained over the entire control range from zero to maximum values. The formula of the output voltage regulation characteristic is obtained through a mathematical model of a pulse-width control method with a variable pulse width.
