With the iterative development of computer big data technology, it is applied to the survey of gender equality of ethnic minorities. It is found that at least half of them are at a higher level of gender inequality based on gender equality indicators, which indicates that there are big problems in social development and gender equality of ethnic minorities. Based on this, this paper first analyzes the current situation and problems of gender equality and social development of ethnic minorities, then carries out a survey of gender equality and social development of ethnic minorities based on computer big data, and finally gives the countermeasures and suggestions for gender equality and social development in minority areas.
