As one of the four ancient civilizations in the world, China has a long history and profound cultural heritage. Traditional decorative elements occupies a very important position in the long history. Because traditional decorative elements contain very strong Chinese characteristics, they are modern. The interior is very popular. In addition, traditional Chinese decorative elements not only play a decorative role in interior design, but also contribute to the inheritance of traditional Chinese culture. The modern interior decoration blends the cultures of various regions and is full of ethnic styles. With China’s reform and opening up, decorative elements with Chinese characteristics have been on the world stage. Based on computer virtual reality technology, this article discusses the application of Chinese decorative elements in interior design.
