This paper puts forward a chaotic encryption algorithm based on Bernoulli Shift Map. This algorithm adopts dynamic encryption key and uses plaintext image parameters to control generation of chaotic key, and enhance connection between chaotic key and plaintext data; the iterative operation precision of chaotic map during encryption is high, avoiding cycle of chaotic system iteration process. The NPCR and UACI analysis, adjacent pixels correlation analysis and image information entropy analysis on encrypted image show this encryption algorithm has favorable encryption characteristics such as larger space for key, sensitivity to plaintext and random distribution of ciphertext.
