Preface

The conference held in the Bauman Moscow State Technical University. The main purpose of this conference is to present new research results in various areas of mechanics held in Russian and foreign scientific and educational institutions. The conference was attended by Dr. Christian Bizouard (Director of IERS Earth Orientation Centre, Observatoire de Paris), Prof. Dr. Shuanggen Jin (Head of Satellite Navigation and Remote Sensing Group, Chinese Academy of Sciences) and other famous scientists. The scientists showed their great potential in studying various problems in numerous fields of science and technology, as well as applying new approaches, which develop and improve methods of mechanics. The reports demonstrated that differential equations and theoretical methods of dynamics present a great potential in describing the motion of the Earth’s pole, the approach of the Earth and the asteroid, in problems of gravitational-wave astronomy, and also in other classical problems of mechanics. Since 2017, Conference Materials have been successfully published by IOP Publishing. Statement of Peer Review All papers published in this volume of Journal of Physics: Conference Series have been peer reviewed through processes administered by the proceedings Editors. Reviews were conducted by expert referees to the professional and scientific standards expected of a proceedings journal published by IOP Publishing.
