The dynamics of space endowed by a metric of the 3-dimensional sphere in the framework of f ( R )–gravity acting in D = 4 from the creation at high energies is studied. Spaces of finite size are found as a result of exact solution of the classical equations of motion. Generalization of the theory to other dimensions D = 3 and D = 5 are also considered.
