This article is devoted to the problem of unreliable indications in a system with sensors operating in harsh environmental conditions. To increase the indications credibility, an algorithm based on the signal speed change limiting method is proposed when calculating the average speed value using the simple moving average formula. The result of the algorithm obtained by modeling the algorithm in a software environment on a sample of linear displacement sensor indications obtained from the hydraulic shock absorbers monitoring system of the current NPP power unit is also presented.
