The aim of the work was to investigate the x-ray scattering from the crystal lattice planes and the reason why this interaction forms distinctive diffraction patterns in the crystals. An experiment was designed in order to take the Laue photographs of the diffraction patterns of two selected crystals NaCl and LiF. The experiments allowed to observe a direct critical link between the internal structure of the crystals and the reciprocal lattice. The work allowed to obtain an energy spectrum for gold with clearly visible L shell emission lines and two Laue Photographs of the following crystals NaCl and LiF were obtained accordingly.
