The article considers the possibility of increasing the heat transfer of the evaporator of the refrigeration unit. The methods of Kutateladze-Sorokin, Baker, Baggs and Brill are used to diagnose the flow regimes of R-22, R-134a, R-600a refrigerants at gas contents from 0.7 to 0.95. The values of the Nusselt criterion, the heat transfer coefficient in the selected sections of the evaporator pipe are calculated. The results are consistent with known data. An example of changing the thickness of a liquid film of a refrigerant is considered to increase the heat transfer of the evaporator of a refrigeration unit.
