Experimental and numerical studies of the process of gravitational deposition of a polydisperse water-in-oil emulsion are carried out. The dynamics of emulsion deposition is determined based on the results of digital image processing. Histograms of the size distribution of emulsion droplets at different sampling depths during deposition are obtained. A comparative analysis of numerical and experimental data is performed.
