A resource allocation scheme based on chaotic ant colony algorithm in self-organizing wireless sensor network is proposed, and corresponding chaotic sequence generator is designed in this paper. Simulations are conducted to compare the proposed method with conventional genetic algorithm and dynamic programming algorithm under self-organizing wireless sensor network environment. Results show that compared with the scheme based on dynamic allocation algorithm and conventional genetic algorithm, the scheme based on chaotic ant colony algorithm has higher target detection rate and lower power consumption, which also extends the networks lifetime.
