CAN bus, as one of the most successful on-board network systems, is widely used in modern automobiles. The main function of CAN bus is to realize timely and accurate message transmission, so higher and higher requirements are put forward for the reliability of message transmission. In this paper, a typical CAN bus message transmission model was selected for analysis, and the reliability sensitivity of the bus message transmission was analyzed and calculated based on the reliability second-moment theory. The results were consistent with the qualitative analysis, and the reliability sensitivity calculation of the second-moment method is verified. The reliability sensitivity analysis of CAN bus message transmission by this method will provide a reasonable theoretical support for the further study of message transmission reliability in CAN bus system.
