This research aims to prove the effeciveness f learning with LSQ during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research method used is a quasi experiment by comparing face-to-face learning and LSQ learning using WhatsApp. The instrument used is a differential equation test. The results is online LSQ using WhatApps can improve student learning outcomes compared to face-to-face learning. Interaction between students and lecturers during online learning occurs interactively so that student motivation to learn also increases. Furthermore, the application of LSQ needs to be developed in other courses and different engineering fields. The results of this study indicate that LSQ learning with WhatsApps Media can be used as an alternative solution in learning in the COVID-19 Pandemic Era.
