The objective of this paper is the simplified model of the reflected signal during subsurface sounding. Physical processes which influence the propagation of the electromagnetic wave are examined in the article. The process of accounting for reflecting local objects situated in the path of the sounding signal propagation is explained in the article. The proposed model is implemented in MatLab software.
