The purpose of the study is to estimate the efficiency of long-distance heat supply from nuclear power plants with the ability to vary the production of heat and electricity. The method of multi-factor system analysis taking into account the real cost of products produced: electricity, network water for heating and hot water supply were used. Differences in revenue from sales of heat and electricity in different months of the heating period, day and night, and also taking into account the forecast for the future, were taken into account. It is shown that only the price method of accounting for production at nuclear power plants by products can really assess the effectiveness of the multi-product production of NPPs.
