Object recognition is one of the classic problems in computer vision. It is very important for computers to recognize the common objects in life like the human brain and the human eye. This is also an important step in the development of computers in the direction of intelligence. This article summarizes the current research on object recognition, and elaborates on several aspects of object feature extraction, object feature matching and object recognition methods.
