Since the reform and opening up, China’s economy has developed rapidly. On the basis of the continuous improvement of national material living standards, people have gradually turned their attention to the field of culture and art. Nowadays, many colleges and universities have offered courses related to oil painting, hoping to cultivate professional talents through appropriate teaching and improve students’ artistic accomplishment. Therefore, it is necessary to apply diversified teaching methods. Through the diversified teaching of big data analysis, it analyzes the problems in college oil painting teaching and the impact of diversified teaching, and explores the specific application of this teaching method in college oil painting teaching.
