In present investigation, the enthalpy differences of conformers for substituted ethanes in PVB/PEG 200, PVB/PEG 400 and PVB/PEG600 blended systems with the compositions of 80:20, 70:30, 60:40 and 50:50 have been determined by FTIR spectroscopy. The influence of the plasticizer content and molecular weight of poly(ethylene glycol) on the enthalpy difference of the conformers has been studied.
