The simulation software TruckSim was applied to build a simulation model of a double-trailer combination and analyze the steering characteristics of a semi-trailer train at the steering wheel corner step input. Through simulation analysis under different speeds and structural parameters, the intrinsic relationship between the steering characteristics of double-trailer trains and the speed and structural parameters is revealed, and the performance characteristics of the steering characteristics of double-trailer trains under these conditions are given, which provides reference for the evaluation and analysis of the steering stability of double-trailer combination.
