In this paper, an analytical solution for evaluation of the stress in the solar cells was developed. The stresses of the solar cells in PV module of 1580mm×808mm were calculated by the present solution and the wind pressures and the effects of the storage shear modulus of the EVA were considered. The results by the present solution were in good agreement with those from FE.
