In the era of We Media, the timely and comprehensive monitoring of online public opinion by means of computer technology has become an urgent necessity. The paper first discusses the new changes of online public opinion brought by We Media, then proposes strategies for monitoring and managing online public opinion, and finally introduces the design idea of the online public opinion monitoring system based on Web Crawler and Lucene.
