With the continuous development of the society and the continuous improvement of the level of scientific research, the research accuracy and precision requirements are higher and higher, followed by more accurate instrumental analysis methods. Gas chromatography has been widely used in many fields for its advantages of high separation efficiency, high sensitivity, fast analysis speed and wide application range. In this paper, the application of gas chromatography in industrial research, food inspection, environmental protection and environmental monitoring is described.
