Preface

It is a great privilege for us to present the proceedings of ICET 2019 to the authors and delegates of the event. The 4th International Conference on Engineering Technology 2019 (ICET 2019) took place at Darul Iman Training Center (DITC), Teluk Kalong, Kemaman, Terengganu, Malaysia on 6th - 7th July 2019. We hope that you will find it useful, exciting and inspiring. Skills and knowledge are vital components for economic growth and social development in responding more effectively and prompter towards challenges and opportunities of globalisation. The primary objective of this conference is to provide a platform for researchers, engineers, academicians and practitioners from all over the world to share their latest research findings, ideas, development and applications of engineering technology as well as to establish potential networking amongst the delegates and technical experts. The responses to the call-for-papers had been overwhelming – both from within Malaysia and overseas. Unfortunately, many manuscripts from prestigious institutions could not be accepted due to review outcomes and our constraints. Nevertheless, we would like to express our gratitude and appreciation for all reviewers who have assisted us in maintaining high quality manuscripts including those published by IOP. We would also like to extend our gratitude to the members of the organizing team for their hard work. We are now optimistic and full of hope about getting the proceedings of ICET 2019 published by IOP and Scopus in due course. We appreciate that the authors of ICET 2019 may want to maximize the popularity of their papers. Thus, we will try our best to support them in their endeavours.
