The article discusses issues in the research and trial operation of satellite communications systems in the following operating modes: “satellite - earth”, “earth - earth”. The results of this study will serve as the fundamental basis for creating new promising technical solutions, using which it is possible to create and modernize both classical and quantum multifunctional ground-based systems and on-board radio-technical and optical communication systems.
