Using the method of discrete sources, we solve the problem of scattering of an electromagnetic wave by a structure composed of two closely adjacent perfectly conducting triaxial ellipsoids. The solution was realized as a computer code. Using this code, we investigated the influence of the electromagnetic interaction of ellipsoids located at different distances on the scattering field characteristics. Some numerical results are presented.
