Many students have difficulty solving the word geometry problem because it requires representation. This study analyzes the representation of class XII students in solving three-dimensional word problems. Research with descriptive methods to determine the type of representation students use when given the task of solving three-dimensional word problems. The results showed students were less familiar with using representations. Some students use verbal and pictorial representations in solving three-dimensional word problems.
