In this work we conduct numerical and experimental characterization of mixed TE-TM polarized surface waves on an anisotropic metasurface in the super high frequency range (from 2 to 8 GHz). We investigate the evolution of equal frequency contours for eigenmodes. The drastic changes of the equal frequency contours shapes, called topological transitions, are observed. Finally, we experimentally demonstrate the polarization hybridization of two localized surface modes.
