In order to reduce the influence of network transmission jitter error on IEEE1588 time synchronization protocol and improve the accuracy of network timing, this paper studies the principle of IEEE1588 protocol. Then the Kalman smoothing filter correction algorithm is proposed. Firstly, according to the transmission mode of IEEE 1588 message, several factors affecting the synchronization accuracy are analyzed, and the noise model is introduced. The synchronization error is compensated by Kalman filter algorithm. Finally, the simulation comparison proves that this algorithm can greatly improve the accuracy of network pairs.
