The Second International Conference on Vocational Education of Mechanical and Automotive Technology (ICoVEMAT) 2019 is a scientific event in achieving the collaboration among academics; students; researchers and experts on the topics of mechanical engineering, mechanical technology, automotive engineering and automotive technology with emphasizes on vocational education. The ICoVEMAT-2019 was organized by Department of Mechanical Engineering Education and Department of Automotive Engineering Education, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. It was successfully held in East Parc Hotel Yogyakarta, Indonesia, on October 12th, 2019. The ICOVEMAT-2019 theme is “Innovation and Development of Vocational Education of Mechanical and Automotive Technology for Better Future”. The success of the ICOVEMAT-2018 is due to the support of many people i.e. steering committee members, program committee members, organizing committee members, authors, presenters, participants, keynote speakers, student committee, and people in other various roles. We would like to thank them all. We also want to show our gratitude toward Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta in facilitating and supporting this event so that ICoVEMAT 2019 could run smoothly. Finally, we would like to thank IOP Publishing Company for their support in publishing the ICOVEMAT-2019 conference proceedings.
