In this article, the authors propose a modernized SHM system, which involves the integration of finite element software into it. The block diagrams of interaction between the standard monitoring system and the modernized one are presented. The use of this scheme for oil tank monitoring is proposed, as well as comparisons of calculated and experimental studies are presented, which confirms the accuracy of calculations and the feasibility of using this scheme.
