This paper discusses the various aspects of the instrumental quality monitoring of city outdoor lighting using IoT technologies on the example of the central area of Perm city, such as selection of the monitored parameter and its measurement methods, methods of processing measured data, the applicability of the results of measurements for various applications using Big Data.
