Synopsis The nonlocal complex potential theory is developed to treat the dissociative electron attachment to molecules when more than one vibrational mode is allowed in the neutral molecule. Temperature-averaged cross sections for electron attachment to CF 3 Cl are obtained assuming two vibrational degrees of freedom.
