This article presents the results of a study of the photoactive film of metal-carbon system as an example cadmium - linear-chain carbon (Cd-LCC). It is shown that when this system is annealed in a nitrogen atmosphere, the addition of cadmium atoms to cumulene carbon chains occurs. Investigation of the properties of the Si-Cd-LCC system doped with nitrogen showed a significant increase in the photoactivity of the Schottky transition in the Si-Cd system.
