Novel fluorophosphate glasses with small content of phosphate doped by various concentration of ErF 3 and 5 mol. % of YbF 3 were obtained. Absorption spectrum and experimental τ exp lifetimes for all concentration of ErF 3 were measured. Radiation lifetime of the excited state τ exp and emission cross-section σ emi were calculated. It was shown that the highest quantum yield q (100%), τ exp (9 ms) and σ emi (0.64×10 -20 cm -2 ) corresponds to 0.5 mol. % ErF 3 .
