The paper presents the results of an experimental study of carbon nanostructures and microcrystals formation under the influence of femtosecond laser radiation in liquid nitrogen. In addition to the formation of carbon nanopeaks on the surface, graphene exfoliation, it is possible to form carbon microcrystals due to the mechanism of the subsurface overheating.
