Abstract

Special Issue of the Materials of the 14 th International Conference on Gas Discharge Plasmas and Their Applications (Tomsk, Russia, 2019) Dmitry Sorokin and Anton Grishkov Institute of High-Current Electronics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, 2/3, Akdemichesky Avenue, Tomsk, 634055, Russia E-mail: SDmA-70@loi.hcei.tsc.ru The present issue of the journal is based on the materials of the 14 th International Conference “Gas Discharge Plasmas and Their Applications” (GDP 2019) that was held on September 15 to 21, 2019 in Tomsk (Russia). The Conference is a significant scientific event that has been held in Russia since 1984. Initially, it arose as an all-union meeting on physics of electrical breakdown in gases, which acquired the status of an international conference since 2007. Traditionally, the conference is held every two years in various cities of Russia: Makhachkala, Omsk, Ryazan, Kazan, Novosibirsk, Samara, etc. This year, Tomsk was chosen as the venue for the fourth time in the long history of the event.
