In this work, based on the relevant solutions to the Schrodinger equation, we present a simple derivation of one-dimensional quantum tunneling through two successive potential barriers, separated by an intermediate free region. In particular, we hypothesized that the transmission coefficient depends strictly on the number ( n ) of barriers. This finding has never been discussed previously and need to be confirmed by future experiments.
