The paper presents the magnetic properties of easy plane and easy axis films on the base of Bi - ferrite garnet experimentally investigated by ferromagnetic resonance and the inductive-frequency method. The possibilities and features of the operation of these films as sensors in eddy current magneto-optical introscopy are shown on the example of visualization of linear defects in products made from aluminium alloys.
