The article discusses a new method for producing synthesis gas using an ac electric arc. The relationship between the electrical parameters and the energy characteristics of the process was established: with an increase in carbon dioxide concentration in the electrode zone, the hydrogen concentration increases. This leads to an increase in the plasma torch power, which can be used to adjust the chemical process.
