In Blagonravov et al (2000 J. Non-Cryst. Solids 277 182) the results of the thermophysical properties study of caesium in the region of the anomalous behavior of these properties were presented. Interpretation of these anomalies is difficult due to the small size of the effects. At the site of the forced growth of the adiabatic thermal pressure coefficient (a.t.p.c.), the magnitude of the effect was 5% with a random error of 2%. In the proposed work, an attempt was made to increase the accuracy of measurements in order to obtain additional information on the behavior of thermodynamic derivatives in the region of their anomalous behavior. The measurement was made by the experimental facility in which the pressure change is carried out in a periodic mode. The software allows simultaneous averaging of the amplitude values of the pressure oscillations and the amplitudes of the temperature response oscillations with the subsequent determination of their ratio. Measurements of the thermodynamic derivative ( d T d P ) s of liquid caesium were carried out in the temperature range of 320–620 K. Random measurement error was 0.5–1%. The results obtained are analyzed in comparison with the similar results obtained in Blagonravov et al (2000 J. Non-Cryst. Solids 277 182).
