The article deals with the features of the use of laser tape measure for the transfer of heights from the Earth surface to the upper levels in civil engineering and to a mine in surveying. The most suitable engineering solution for the transfer of height to the mine is justified. Certain experimental results are presented. The algorithm that increases the accuracy of the transmission marks to the mine in the construction of deep tunnels is developed.
