The analysis of an experimental investigation of heat transfer for a gas flow into the multichannel plate heat exchanger depending on the gas Prandtl number is presented. The gas mixture with Prandtl number of 0.23 and 0.7 were used. It is shown that the design procedure by the method a local thermal balance possesses an adequate accuracy for verification design equation for Nusselt number, including definition of the conditions validity of the model of flow regime heat exchanger.
