The impact of silicon nitride particulates as a ceramic reinforcement material on the corrosion mitigation of AA8011 in 0.5 M H 2 SO 4 was Experimented with potentiodynamic polarization technique, and the microstructural evolution was keenly observed with TESCAN scanning electron microscope (SEM). The findings from the research show the enhancement in the corrosion performance of the developed composites in relation with the unreinforced AA8011 alloy. The corrosion rate was observed to decrease drastically at higher percentage reinforcement of 20% Si 3 N 4 with 66.78% efficiency. The scanning electron micrographs present a pitting form of corrosion, the pit was seen to be more pronounced in the unreinforced alloy than the developed composites.
