The article presents the result of the processing of the telemetry data obtained from the “AIST” small satellite constellation. The results of processing telemetry data, obtained during emergency situations on board of the satellites were presented. The influence of the light-dark cycle on the power balance of the satellites was analyzed. The factors affecting the thermal regime of a spacecraft were considered. As a result, the simulation of the thermal conditions of the small satellites was carried out. Then a comparison of the results obtained with the telemetry data was carried out. Thus, the most suitable coating for the processing of honeycomb panels was determined, which reduced systematic overheating, then the imperfection of the procedure for conducting thermal vacuum tests was identified, and finally, recommendations for improving the thermal performance of small satellites “AIST” were formulated.
