To accelerate development of competitive new-generation rice varieties adapted for environmentally friendly non-pesticide farming, we used the achievements of modern Russian and Chinese national rice breeding. The article observes the technologies of developing rice initial forms combining economically valuable traits with long-term resistance to biotic stressors (blast) using modern methods of phenotyping and genotyping as well as experimental haploidy with subsequent experimental development of breeding resources.
