With the bridge crane as a research object, the problem of hoisting mechanism energy consumption and the need of detecting energy consumption are studied by using the black box theory and the serial theory. After the need of measuring reducer power is analyzed emphatically, a plan that measuring simultaneously power of reducer torque and rotational speed is finally proposed.
