Shell-like structures are widely used in many engineering structures. This work is forcing on the performance of the S4 element and S4R element, two types of conventional shell element in Abaqus, in different R/h ratios. In the scenario of a pipe-like configuration, both DKQ and MPT have different positions in different R/h ratios.
