Preface

This issue of the Journal is devoted to research and studies presented at the V International Conference on Innovations in Non-Destructive Testing SibTest-2019. The conference was held in Yekaterinburg, Russia, on 26-28 June 2019. The conference brought together experts from different countries and organizations that had a great opportunity to share knowledge during oral and poster presentations, to initiate discussions on topics that are of interest to the conference attendees. The conference aimed to discuss innovative methods and application of advanced technologies in nondestructive testing. The conference attempted to bring together university, academic and industrial science, to expand co-operation of scientists from different countries in research and development and commercialization of innovative technologies in non-destructive testing. The key themes of the conference were: Advanced Systems and Technologies in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT); Methods and Diagnostic Tools for Medical Application; Materials Science and Electronics.
