Variational Bayesian Method for Time-Varying Linear Prediction Modelling

The speech signal is produced by vocal tract of human beings. The characterics of the vocal tract can be modelled by time varying linear prection analysis. In this paper, a hierarchical Bayesian model is proposed to model the time varying linear prediction model. Then Variational Bayesian method is used to estimate the parameters of the model. Experiments are carried out on real speech to demonstrate the performance of the proposed method.
