The mechanical properties, microstructure and chemical composition of a venturi flowmeter were investigated. The tensile tests were conducted at 23 °C and 520°C with different strain rates. The fracture surface of tensile specimens was analyzed by scanning electron microscopy. Microstructure of the venturi flowmeter material was analyzed by optical microscope. The results show that the chemical constituents meet the requirements of relevant standards.
